A quick drive, but an entire world away from Las Vegas is the magnificent Valley of Fire.
This state park, dedicated in 1935 and
the oldest in Nevada, is home to some of the most beautiful scenery in the Las Vegas area. With giant outcroppings of vibrant, rust-colored rocks, miles of hiking paths and even ancient petroglyphs, the Valley of Fire makes an incredible half-day trip.
Tours to the Valley of Fire depart daily at 9 a.m. and treat visitors to exploration of Rainbow Vista, Atlatl Rock and Fire Canyon and feature petrified sand dunes and a glimpse of Native American cultures.
Guests visit the park via a 10-passenger Tour Trekker, designed for off-roading adventures.
