26 Aug PublicUs
This rustic, artsy Public Us coffee shop in Downtown Las Vegas would be an ideal spot for plant-based folks not only to meet up and mingle, but also to set up laptops and do some work.
Key words: Would. Be.
Right now, the acclaimed Public Us gets the coffee and tea right (hello, London Fog). Like really right. But … the food leaves a bit to be desired. Granted, there are a few items like the steel cut oatmeal served with fresh berries and some seriously tasty potatoes … but there really aren’t too many other options for hungry vegans wanting to nosh with their other vegan (or omni) friends.
That being said, word has it that they are coming out with some more yummy food (and we can’t wait!). In the meantime, get there because this Downtown spot truly has an awesome atmosphere, a kick-ass attentive staff, fast wifi and a basically the best vibe for a coffee shop now that our beloved Beat is bye-bye.
Bonus points for the little booze selection they’ve got, and the live trees “growing” from between the tables. It makes us feel all happy and plant-y.
