Vegan Asian food at Jumping Rice and Rolls in Las Vegas means us cruelty-free people can dine on udon, bowls and more! The entire menu at Jumping Rice and Rolls may not be plant-based, but that doesn’t mean we can’t enjoy deliciousness at this fast-casual spot.
Granted, there isn’t an overabundance of vegan options, but there definitely are some. And the vegan dishes Jumping Rice and Rolls do offer, they nail.
Craving some thick noodled-soup? You’re covered, thanks to the soy-based broth in the udon. To veggie it up, simply ask for a side of steamed goodness and you’ve got a flavorful soup with an ample dose of greens to kick in.
For jumping rice (that’s fried rice if you’re not fancy), order up the standard with veggies and ask them to hold the egg. Our favorite rice is the Thai Pineapple (again, no meat, hold the egg). This dish tastes like what we imagine autumn would taste like and is some serious comfort food. Fortunately, staff here understand a vegan diet and help tweak dishes to make them friendly.
The restaurant also offers a few rice bowl options (veggie and veggie tempura), as well as vegetable sushi options, a few salads, and some appetizers (hello, spicy garlic edamame).
