Blue Sea Sushi and Izakaya

Updated: July 26, 2017

Tucked into a strip mall on Windmill, it’s really easy to miss Miko’s Sushi Blue Sea Sushi and Izakaya serving vegan Japanese food in Las Vegas. But, what a shame if you do. Seriously.

The restaurant, which is open for lunch and dinner boasts an impressive vegan menu with non-GMO and organic ingredients. Honestly, there isn’t anything we don’t love about this Japanese restaurant. It’s doing something most Japanese restaurants in the Valley aren’t doing — catering to the vegan community.

For vegan Japanese food in Las Vegas, look to Miko's Sushi. Traditional Japanese dishes and creative sushi made vegan! For more vegan dining options in Las Vegas, visit www.vegansbaby.com

It’s evident in their menu, which offers staple Japanese dishes like Hijiki (fried bean curd), but also favorites like vegan gyoza (holy wow is it good), vegan miso soup, vegan ramen, a gorgeous kale noodle salad (when they have it, get it!) and sushi.

Oh. The. Sushi.

We can’t get enough of their innovative rolls like the Hawaiian Caterpillar (pictured) filled with pineapple and topped with avocado, coconut sauce and coconut flakes, or the Popeye Roll with spinach, avocado, pineapple and sesame sauce.
