24 Nov Paiz Latin and Vegan Food
Updated Feb. 22, 2017: Paiz is now closed.
A newer kid on the block in Spring Valley, Paiz Latin and Vegan Food offers some tasty offerings for the plant-based folk craving some vegan Latin food in their lives.
This bright and airy fast-casual restaurant has plenty of vegan dishes to choose from. Start with some chips and salsa (naturally) and then choose what you want as your main course — tacos, burritos, nachos, and more. All for $7.99.
Our fave is the veggie bowl, filled with rice, beans, avocado, vegan cheese and vegan sour cream, plus your pick of salsa. If you prefer tacos, check out the crispy potato version, filled with rice and beans. They’ve also got vegan chilaquiles (!!!), fries and your choice of veggies to add in like beer-battered avocado, limi-cilantro mushrooms, and poblano and zucchini.
This locally-owned small business is worth the visit. Go, get your vegan Latin food without dropping the big bucks. Dishes here are flavorful, and let you enjoy vegan versions of Latin favorites.
